- Lloyds in Sowerby Bridge bans dogs after years of allowing them.
- The customer says dogs were welcome and staff gave treats, but now entry is banned.
I live in Sowerby Bridge and have done for many years. Our local Lloyds pharmacy in the village has just decided to ban dogs from entering the shop after 20-30 years of allowing them in.
My dog, as all my dogs, have been well behaved and friendly and have always come with me, and all the staff love talking to them, even having treats behind the counter for them. My dogs are always on the lead, and as my latest dog is young, I cannot leave her outside the building on her own, so I'm really struggling to pick up my prescriptions if my husband is not about, as my dog is always with me. Everything was fine until the shop got a new pharmacist who is Asian and obviously doesn't like dogs. This is not a food store, and I cannot believe it is even legal to put up a scruffy piece of paper saying they are not allowed in.
Also, to be fair, my dog is cleaner and probably has fewer germs on her than half the customers in there. I was told it was a nationwide rule, but I'm not convinced this is the case and would like confirmation that this is the case.
They should be banning the horrid, ill-mannered children that come in running around the shop and causing havoc, not customers' well-behaved dogs. I can even take my dog into the Range, B&Q, and a lot of other stores without an issue, and the Range has food!
Preferred solution: Why this is now the case after all these years of being allowed in

COMPLAINT
- Daughter, 29 weeks pregnant, visited 518 Hagley Road West on doctor’s advice.
- Llyods offers free BP checks.
- Staff were busy and ignored her requests.
My daughter called in to one of your branches today 518 Hagley Road West, Oldbury, B68 0BZ on the recommendation of her Doctor. She is 29 weeks pregnant and had been told she needed to monitor her blood pressure as she has a high blood count and that Llyods Chemist do them free of charge, she was at work just down the road so called in and they turned round and said we are to busy she explained the situation but they still choose to ignore her requests, needless to say i am not happy with how she was treated today.
They could have said take a seat and will be with you as soon as someone is available.
I think this needs addressing with the staff there. Im sure that Doctors dont ring you at work to tell you to get this checked if they not concerned about her and the baby.

I was ripped off
- Ordered weight loss drugs online but never received them (£173).
- They asked for a video in underwear to ship and offered 50% back after five days.
An absolute disgrace of service. I bought some weight loss drugs online.
I have never received anything from Lloyds pharmacy and when they said they required a video of me in my underwear before posting out the weight loss product. I replied explaining that I did not have a smart phone and did not really want a friend filming me in my underwear in order to complete the purchase so asked for a refund.
They then said that a refund was not possible, but I could have 50% of the money back. To be clear, this was five days after my initial purchase and I had received nothing, they had done nothing but claimed half of my purchase price £173.
For a medical company to run such a refund scam is unbelievable. I have tried to post the photograph of their reply but have not been able to upload the photo as I do not have a smart phone.
But overpaid pharmacy company robbing poor people in a vulnerable position is frankly disgusting.
I hope that they see this review and are ashamed as they should feel. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE; AS YOU WILL NOT BE GIVEN YOUR MONEY BACK!!!

- Issue not resolved and the customer is disappointed.
- A pharmacist ignoring serious problems with incorrect dosages is concerning.
Was not resolved very disappointing. That ttheze things can happen to a customer.
And very very worrieying for all customers that use your services.
When you have a pharmacist. That can basically not bother about the serious problem regards wrong amount of strong meds .Very sketchy ?

- Order had wipes, no injections.
- Only one injection left; worrisome.
- Not the first time; can't reach Lloyds Clinical Homecare; formal complaint.
I received an order yesterday which contained wipes, but no injections. As I only have one left, this is concerning.
I am having difficulty contacting the necessary department, which is Lloyds Clinical Homecare. Do not pass me on to someone else, as I need this sorted immediately.
As this is not the first time I have had this problem, I wish to make a formal complaint. If this occurs again, I will personally contact the CEO.

Verified ReviewerFell into the usual online scam.
- Daughter wanted a weight loss injection.
- I skipped due diligence; Lloyds online required video and passport, with 50% refund.
My daughter wanted to try the new weight loss injection programme. I decided to go along for the ride, as I am a bit (lot), fatty *** *** myself.
I left her to make the arrangements, mistake no.1. Did not do my usual due diligence, mistake no.2. Agreed with her choice of Lloyds pharmacy online, mistake no.3. After a basic tick box questionnaire, which can apparently take up to 48 hours to be checked, I was validated within 2 hours.
Oh dear, this is when the alarm bells should start ringing. Anyway it would have been too late, as they have already had the money. They do this, as the process of uploading a video of yourself from all angles, flashing your passport, and weighing in, is time-consuming and annoying. I managed to send a video, which was rejected.
Asked for a refund and was informed that I would only receive 50%, because of all the work they had done.
I have fallen for many scams over the years but felt confident with this website, as it was Lloyds. But of course, the high street stores have all been taken over, and the Lloyds online, is owned by a Malaysian private health care company called Aurelius.
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: I don't know if the other healthcare ,"professionals" are running the same scam for these treatments. Just double check everything.

- Returned a faulty Omron BP monitor; refund of £29.95 agreed and not yet paid.
- Amy McKeown asked for bank details on 7 Dec; provided.
I had sent many e-mails but latter ones bounced back so I gave up. I would never buy anything else from them.
I returned a faulty Omron blood pressure monitor iron 18th Sept last year & you are unable to return it so have agreed to repay me £29.95. The last message I received was on 7th December from Amy McKeown apologising for the delay & asking for my bank details, which I provided. I have not received a payment yet & should like someone to deal with it please.
User's recommendation: Don’t buy anything that might need to be returned as they will ignore you & you won’t get a refund.

New ownership took over last year.
Well why have they done it now then, I was told it was a complaint in another branch and so all stores banned it. I don’t believe that based on the rubbish note now on door, why is it not an official sign?!
